Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the game Star Catcher (the “game”) handles your information. The game is developed by MemnayaLabs (“we”, “us”).
In short: the game does not collect any personal data. It has no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no in-app purchases, and the game itself does not send anything over the internet. Your progress is stored only on your device.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal information or usage data. The game contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking tools.
2. Game progress on your device
Your game progress and settings (for example, language and sound volume) are saved locally on your device: in the app storage on Android, in a save file in your user folder on Windows, macOS and Linux, or in your browser’s storage when you play in a browser. This data never reaches us.
3. Services provided by your platform
- Android backup. If backup is turned on in your Android settings, the system may include the game’s save file in your Google account backup, so your progress can be restored after reinstalling the game or on a new phone. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; we have no access to it.
- Google Play. Google may provide us with aggregated statistics, such as the number of installs and crash rates, through the Google Play Console. Google collects these according to your device settings and its privacy policy; they do not identify you to us.
- Steam. In the desktop version, achievements are reported to Steam, and your save file may be synchronized through Steam Cloud if it is enabled. This is handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy; we only see aggregated achievement statistics.
4. Permissions
The game does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files. The Android app includes the standard network permission used by the system web view that displays the game; the game itself does not connect to the internet.
5. Children
The game is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Deleting your data
You can erase your progress at any time in the game: Settings → Erase progress. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data also removes it from your device. Backups in your Google account can be managed in your Google account settings. We store no data about you, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
